Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty born October 1 1995 in Berkeley California USA. She is an actress known as the actress behind Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) as well as Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into the family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations which she has herself pursued. She began her career in film when she was nine years old in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni bisogni. In 1988 she had become the main character of Cristina Comencini's Zoo as well as a part of Michele Soavi's The Church. Red Wood Pigeon was the following year and Asia was Nanni's daughters. Close Friends was written by Michele Placido and was directed by her. The film was the point at which Asia's career started to grow, and she moved from young girl roles to mature and complex ones. This movie received a positive response at the Cannes International Film Festival. She worked with her father for the debut time on Trauma, a renowned Italian horror director Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is Argento's favorite actress and she played an anorexic looking to find the murderer of her parents. Asia's intense way of performing was well used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze. In 1993, she starred alongside the Perdiamoci of Carlo Verdone di vista in which she was Arianna who was a disabled girl. This was an intricate and difficult role that won her the David di Donatello for the best actress. She was also an important role in the cast international for Queen Margot directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995 she teamed up along with Michel Piccoli to produce Peter Del Monte Compagna di viaggio in which she was awarded a David di Donatello. Asia began directing short films in 1994. She also produced an episode of the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside her father. 1998 she directed AbelAsia which was a film about famous director Abel Ferrara. This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her debut feature film in 1999. The film was Scarlet Diva. In this film, she was the main character and wrote the script. In May 2000, the film became available to the public worldwide. It won an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
